Hungary, 1945. On the brink of disaster, desperation sets in...
Operations Konrad 3 and Spring Awakening were two of the last major German offensives of World War II.
Konrad 3 was the final attempt to relieve the besieged German remnants in Budapest. In Spring Awakening,
the Germans, drawing on the remains of the mighty Sixth Panzer Army rebuilt from the ruins of the Ardennes,
attempted to hammer through Soviet lines to create a buffer zone protecting the invaluable Hungarian oil fields
that fueled the Axis war machine. The SS Abyss is an operational simulation of these desperation moves by
the Axis forces along the Eastern Front.
The SS Abyss was created by veteran game designer and developed by Scott Holmgren. This boxed version
features all new artwork by Scott Holmgren. The SS Abyss was originally published by Blue Guidon Games
and is now available from OMEGA GAMES.
